Our collective local efforts support and drive global organizations that teach and advocate our philosophy around the world.
The Highest Level of Quality Assurance
Established in 1993 as a response to concerns about global deforestation, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent, nongovernmental not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Represented in more than 50 countries around the world, FSC is supported by environmental organizations and social groups equally.
The FSC certification system provides internationally recognized standards, trademark assurance and accreditation services to companies, organizations and communities practicing responsible forestry.
The FSC label provides a credible link between responsible production and consumption of forest products, enabling consumers and businesses to make purchasing decisions that benefit people and the environment as well as provide ongoing business value.
Choosing products from FSC-certified forests supports the conservation of forests and wildlife and helps people lead better lives.
Our woodworking is certified by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association and the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP), the only environmental certification program that specifically focuses on kitchen and bath cabinets.
Certification is awarded based on compliance in five categories, with eighteen different criteria in the areas of air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship and community relations. It recognizes our commitment to ensuring the responsible use of natural resources through sound environmental management and sustainable practices.
ESP-certification is validated by the American National Standards Institute their Green Building Standard™ applies ESP as the benchmark for green cabinets.
